Busy as a Bee, in May!

Hello May… we are getting closer to summer!

Are we wanting to keep our bodies as clean and healthy inside and outside and stay away from medication that can also have side-effects? Well Homeopathy may be just the right thing for you!

Here is a list of typical things I may treat in May:

  • SUNBURN and SUNSTROKE (Yes! Even on those rare occasions in the UK where I am based!)
  • CUTS, GRAZES and SWEAT RASH as we get outside more.
  • BRUISING, TIGHTNESS, SPRAINS and STRAINS as we get our exercise regimes back on track.

With Homeopathy there is something for everyone!

Infact, if you get the hang of it and buy yourself a home kit, you can treat it pretty much instead of a First Aid kit bar the tweezers, thermometer, scissors, bandages and plasters!

I love helping my patients become more confident in looking after their everyday health niggles with their home kit! My favourite is the Ainsworths 42 Essential Remedy kit (available overseas too) and the booklet in there is wonderful! https://www.ainsworths.com/kit-ess/

HOWEVER… Homeopathy is wonderful at treating pretty much EVERYTHING and I work a lot with complex cases, including Autism, ADHD, Asthma, Eczema and allergies, other skin conditions such as Acne, Digestive, Gut and bladder troubles, Auto-immune diseases, Sleep, Hormonal and Menstrual difficulties… and so the list goes on! And of course, Homeopathy is so good at treating cold, coughs and Flu symptoms.

Homeopathy links the mind with the body and so it is also very effective with Mental Health sufferings such as Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Fears and phobias.

This year has really been a year of stopping and realising what we have been through in managing ourselves and others during a Pandemic and for some of us there is FRAGILITY to deal with now.

The real magic about Homeopathy is that it is a natural system of medicine that aims to always get to the root cause of the ailment wherever possible which means the symptoms can improve on a more permanent basis.

Using conventional medicine may relieve the symptoms, but there is more likelihood that they will simply return at some point as they can only be suppressed.

Busy as a Bee, in May! 1

This month in the UK, we typically have two long weekends but in fact with the Coronation of our new King Charles III and his wife Camilla, we have a third one!

There will be much celebration and no doubt some over-indulgence, so do consider digestive support if you feel the worse for wear:

  • Nux Vomica 30c – for overdoing it with rich, spicy food and alcohol. Good for the gut, headaches and stress.
  • Arsenicum Album 30c – for food poisoning.
  • Chelidonium 6c –  to support the liver and gall bladder.
  • Carbo-Veg 30c – for indigestion with burning.
  • Nat Phos Tissue salts….also very helpful with acidic complaints of the digestive tract.

King Charles was made Patron of the Faculty of Homeopathy in 2019 so he will no doubt be dipping into his remedy supplies 😉 Look how well our lovely Late Queen Elizabeth and her mother did with their preference to using homeopathy during their lives.
